What!!! Another Blog!! It's about time!

These are some of the things I have learned on the Internet:

1.    Barack Obama is trying to destroy America
2.    Barack Obama is the son of God
3.    George W. Bush has a brain
4.    George W. Bush is brainless
5.    The US has the greatest healthcare system in the world
6.    The US has the worst healthcare system in the world
7.    Global warming is the greatest threat to mankind in the history of the earth
8.    Global warming is a fraud, perpetrated by leftists determined to find an excuse to social engineer mankind into a Marxist paradise
9.    America is the Great Satan, intent on dominating the world on behalf of multinational corporations listed on the New York Stock Exchange
10.   Islam is the greatest threat to world civilization since Adolf Hitler
11.  The Internet is the greatest boon to communications ever invented
12.  The Internet threatens to become the weapon of mass destruction for those intent on committing cultural genocide
13.  Truth is whatever makes you feel good

Of course, none of these things are true (except maybe number 13, depending upon your level of narcissism). The purpose of this blog is to attempt something that has never been tried before in the entire history of the Internet: To condense the state of the world into a daily blog that will provide all of the information you need to get through the day without wondering if you are the only sane one (or insane one). If you believe that, you are reading the wrong blog.

Typically, what we will do is question the assumptions that drive the news cycles of the media, whether mainstream or sidestream, when confronted by events that they are grasping to explain. Nothing you read here will likely be worth reading. This is my opportunity to talk back and nothing more.
